Starcraft 2/Battle.net

You think they are going to allow cross gaming through the battle.net servers allowing for a cross incorporation of all the servers so you can play on any server you want and chat with anyone you want on any server or game with them. Or do you think they will create a whole new server platform for their new toy, and split it up like Battle.net servers? Or do yo think they will just stick it with their original battle.net servers they have in place, and just make it like Diablo and other games like that where it can't go into any channels except it's product specific ones.

Originally when Diablo/Sc came out and Battle.net was new, there was only one server, and several patches later they were split up into four to ease the strain. I'm pretty sure they'll keep what they have now.

Ya, those were the good ol' days when you could steal ops in other channels if you could catch a server split. I think myself they will make its own server base like WoW. I don't think they will incoroporate it into the Battle.net servers.

In addition, Battle.net will be overhauled with some new and exciting features to enhance online play and competition, while the story-mode campaign will also offer some unique aspects for players who enjoy single-player content. We'll have more details on all these aspects in the months to come.

Well that's stupid, people can still talk to eachother through other programs but wouldn't it be easier to talk through the game instead of xfire or msn?
