If it is anything near the first one, even slightly in one way or anyother close to the first one in any gameplay or functionality, don't buy it cause it is most likely shit.

The first one was so incredibly boring and repetative. throughout the entire thing, nothing exciting happened, you jsut did the same repetative shit over and over again.

I've heard nothing but good things about this game so far, and if I didn't have my money put into other projects at the moment, or if I had a free rental left, I'd get it. From the screens it looks about the same as the last one, but I hear they fixed some things wrong with the series thus far. I'm not a fan of the Splinter Cell series, but if you are, it's definately worth getting.

My friend just bought it and said it was awsome. He said the multiplayer is good too.

Splinter cell felt like a cheap rip off of metal gear solid.

The second Splinter Cell was more entertaining than the first. I've got the first for PC and I've played the second (multiplayer and single-player), and it was more entertaining in both aspects. I haven't played Chaos Theory yet.

So... no one here has actually played it yet?
