Spirit

Since I'm a mage, and can make food and water, I wonder if does spirit actually matters for any bloody thing during combat. Well, does it?

Spirit is a priest's best friend. Not so much for mages, and definately not for warlocks.

Basically, stick to int/stam gear (If they are green) and whatever cloth blues you find will generally have spirit on them too. I wouldn't make spirit a necessity for mages.

Yeah, but what exactly does it do? Affects anything at all? Why's it so good for priests?

It gives quicker Mana Regen both in combat and out.

in combat? HELL YES. get a +spirit staff, slap it on when your low on mana, BAM evocate. you can seriously get a lot of extra mana by just swapping your staff out for evocate. trust me, it can be an extra 1k mana.

For a priest as a rough calcuation every 3 spirit points is 1 mana per tick outside the 5 second rule
