you know the spell steal thingy. lets say that u have 5 spellbreakers and they cast inner fire on their units. would the inner fire be dispelled or would it remain on the unit.

From the Cd booklet:

Spell Steal
Steals a positive buff from an enemy unit and applies it to a nearby friendly unit, or takes a negative buff from a friendly unit and applies it to a nearby enemy unit. This is an auto-casting spell.

Now, I do suppose that It wouldn't take the positives from your units, and give to your enemy, or take the negetives from your enemy and give it to your units. Besides controdicting the spell, I dont belive they would make it take a positive and a negetive form your enemy and throw them at your units. Just a thought.

no no no i know all that...i shoudve put it like this....would the spellbreakers just dispell? Say theres an enemy unit with a positive buff on it and there is a spellbreaker. Would the spellbreaker "just" dispell the positive buff even though there is no other friendly units to give it too??

Spell breaker is unit with greater dmg than footmen but lower defense. They attack in a little range (a little closer than huntresses) and are good for their immune to magic. You can cast any spells on them like flames strike, blizzard, it wont affect them.
The 'steal magic ' is very useful one because you can add for example 'curse' to enemy by removing it from your units.Works perfect for this spell, extremely useful against bloddlust and stealing bloodlust even stealing from ogre mage.
The control magic is not do as it can help you control elementals or treants but it is not worthy for skeletons.Feral spirits too, most of the summoned are good to control at their lvl3

Spellbreakers can be pretty cool sometimes. They are very situational units.

'situational'
You mean in some cases it can be very helpful, there are some strats with more than 5 like instead of footmen but this works agaisnt huntresses, even not the best strat but in case of others having more spellbreakers, just as army isnt very good

Massing spellbreakers and priests works pretty nice even if you think heavy melee would own them i owned a night elf that went hunts and MGs, and i won.

And what would the priests do for the breakers? Can't heal, immune. Can't raise armor, immune. Breakers are magic immune so priests wont do much but heal eachother and raise eachothers armor..Now i can see Hunt+Sorc working..

they actually do heal sb. immune to magic has been reworked. immune to magic translates to immune to magic attacks/buffs, not healing.

going full "casters" is a viable strategy in large 3v3 or 4v4 games esp. if you have griphons.

Well, then you fought noob NE. First off, MG has great tank, second, most NE (well me) makes Dark ranger as second hero.. learn silence, ur priests cant do anything now! :D:D:D

I have to agree that if you play with stronger mass breakers wont work.

Spellbreakers can be healed dear Serial and not only with priests but with paladin too ;)

i dont really mass spell breakers.... they would work with blizzard and flame strike but it is usually better to keep them in a small number just to counter other people's spells.
