Not sure if these are really used anymore....if not could anyone give me a up to date guide on how there used now a days?

Thats like two seconds off the top of my head, but that would be about the gist of it.

You would need something that would just do massive damage, such as a BotD eth War Pike or Ghost Spear. You also would need to max out Shout, because you can't us a shield. Oh, and enough in WW for ~0% ED. Rest in Spear Mastery / Synergies.

Ever taken a look at the chart for combat masteries? The gains are quite minimal. With the addition of +skills, theres no reason to have more than 10 points in a mastery when you have combat skill synergies in which the points could be better spent.

1) WW has no synergies.
2) Berserk's synergies are quite useless, cuz berserk is only for P.I. monsters and is very good by itself, w/o synergies.
3) Spear mastery is absolutely necessary, imho. And it has to be maxed, cuz it gives damage, ar and chance of critical strike to your attacks.
4) Berserk is the last skill to pump up. In hell, with the right gear, it's very good even with 1 point to take down immunes. Rest of points go here.

well, 1 point in frenzy will help berserk atleast

and lazloth, remember this:
we are part of the D2 Strat Team for a reason.

You need 2 weapons to use frenzy. If he's a spear barb, he does not have 2 weapons.

Nah, if you have those in the switch, you loose all the +BO skill bonuses, it's not a good alternative.

A Ghost spear is quite fast in killing immunes with berserk.

Im on Gilgamesh right now with currently, a lv30 mnk, lv25 sam and a lv13 war (main will be Sam, sub = War)

This is my favourite skill distribution.

And you always have to give 1 to Battle command, Inc.speed, stamina, nat.resist and iron skin.
