You guys know the speaker on your comp thers a know and u turn it it clicks and turns on/off. mine doesnt click and wont turn on/off. help

Just mute your volume...who cares if your speakers turn off?

Or are you worried about cell phone interference?

Your button is probably shifted to the point where it can't turn off anymore. Although it doesn't do much, but if you want, you can always get new speakers.

I'm confused, if your speakers turn on but don't work then get a new sound card. If you speakers work and just don't make an annoying noise when you cut them on isn't that for the best?

Before you buy a new sound card you should probablly hook your speakers up to another computer to make sure the speakers work.

its the speakers, it just doesnt turn off, i can set it to very low sound though.

Just use Mute.. Or unplug them when you want them off. New speakers are pretty cheap if you buy the crappy kind.
Your best bet is to play with your Knob, pull it out twist it around a few times, stick it back in, repeat until some thing you like happens.
