Is p2p even illegal though? I don't think so. You can LEGALLY share and download uncopyrighted files.

The act of distributing copyrighted material is illegal..but that's only when you distribute those types of files. Soulseek isn't only for that. It's like google..it CAN be used to look up illegal stuff..but google itself still isn't illegal . Same with torrent programs. The programs aren't illegal..neither are torrents in general, it's just a matter of what you're downloading/distributing .

So yeah, I'm certain soulseek the program is legal..it's simply illegal to use it to download illegal material.

blah soulseek is more like the 2nd best. the best is oink's pink palace. its tough to hold onto a ratio but it is the best.

plus, i only listen to lossless. well mostly 90% of the time. which oink promotes along with logs and cues

Meh soulseek is the best application for p2p imo.. Sure torrent sites are amazing.. But I like soulseek because of the community.

Oink is okay, but I still fail to find some of the music I like on there. Soulseek is better for harder to find music.
