hi, i lvl'd a sorc to lvl 81 and i can't even survive i the den in hell, my skills were frozen orb (20), thund storm (10), light mast (20), chainlight (17), and some skillpoints i wasted on stuff i tought i would need...

anyway, the chainlight doesn't do much damage on cold resistant creatures, so my question is if somebody can give a tip how to form my new sorc, I would like to be able to solo a bit in hell...

I would like to get max damage in 2 different elements, i red something about you can get synenergies, but I don't realy understand that... plz give me a guide ownexpeienced so I can do some runs on hell and get some nice stuff....

k now synergy the most gay thing since......blizz made the cow level.

a word of advice make a new sorc. try making either a fireball sorc or a blizz sorc they are the most effective in the new patch.
it seems like you made your sorc in the style of .09 that wont work anymore because of synergys. and ill find a way to explane it.


Synergy bonuses are designed to boost the effectiveness of the higher-level skills based upon the number of points allocated to the lower-level (synergizing) skills. Players are rewarded for using skill points earlier rather than hoarding them all for later 'cookie-cutter' distribution to high-level skills. A skill that has a Synergy lists other skills that will help improve the skill you are looking at. This guide lists the bonuses as they are listed in the game so there won't always be complete information about what each Synergy does.

Items that give bonuses to skills and skill levels will not add to Synergy bonuses. For example, an Orb with +3 to Fireball, when equipped, does not give any bonus to Firebolt.

a more "follow me or else" guide:

1~4: den of evil + cold plain
4~8: stoney field + cain + black marsh
8~12: black marsh ~ cata (yes, walk)
12~13: Andy, etc... now on act 2
13~15: sewer
15~18: try gettin all those pieces etc
18~21/22: arcane, full run, then do duriel after
21/22~24: finish act 3
24~27: finish act 4
27~42: finish act 5 (and do baal norm run)
42~"what ever lvl": do whole nm with some1 rushing you or something, get on act 5 and kill ancient
45+~70+: nm baal run
70+~75+: hell act1 ~ act 5 ancient
75+: hell ball run and pindle

what does pvp and pvm mean, and whats the differance between rich and poor people, ladder and non ladder?

pvp = player vs player (dualing)
pvm = player vs monster
rich = you can afford high end equipment
poor = complete opposite of rich
ladder = certain items are released only to ladder, its basicly a ranking system to see whos the fastest at leveling up
non-ladder = no items are released unless a patch is released, no ranking system, people are able to dupe.

i suggest you restart ur sorc, cuz u seriously kinda ****ed it up :\ u need to use synergies to survive in 1.10
