Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the hedgehog deserves his own thread, so here it is. How 'into' the series were you? Which games were your favorite, or did you just love/hate them all equally? Which ones have you owned, and which ones have you played? How much other Sonic stuff do you have? Any other Sonic-related memories or comments not covered here are more than welcome.
When Sega Genesis was the big thing, Sonic was my favorite series, hands down. I bought every game as it came out. Every Sonic game I ever played for Sega, I beat without any cheats. This is the full list of Sonic games I owned (literally and figuratively):
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (inserting Sonic 3 into S&K)
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 3D Blast
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (my all-time favorite puzzle game)
By beat, I mean I made it to the end. The only way to truly beat any Sonic game is to finish with every Chaos Emerald in your possession, which I only did for Sonic 1 and S3&K. S3&K was by far my favorite of all the Sonic games.
I also have Sonic Heroes for PS2, and have 3 of the 4 teams at 100% (Team Dark is at like 98, I can't beat the last level). I have the Sonic Mega Collection+ for PS2 as well, which has every Sonic game for Genesis and Game Gear on it, along with a slew of other games Sonic-related or based off the series.
As far as extra stuff goes, I have a Tails keychain (well, I took one of those Tails handheld games from McDonalds, used a nail to make 2 holes in it, and adapted it into a sweet keychain), and my MSN avatar is currently Tails.
