See, I'm addicted to these songs, because:

I've listened to Boulevard of Broken Dreams, by Green Day, while going to and from work for about 3 weeks. Everyday because it takes me the full song to get to work and to get home.

This damn Michelle Branch Song, ''Everywhere'' played at work 9 times in a row one day. I downloaded it off the whim that I might like it. Still play it a lot. x.x

One of those songs you look at your town with and think...why do I live here? What the hell is so special/bad/good about this place? It's ordinary...and Ulvers song ''Catastrophe'' reminds me of that feeling.

More to come later. :heart

I mainly want to see if anyone elses songs have the same addictive feel to me as mine do...

Also, Depeche Mode - Barrel of a Gun is another song that I've been listening to a lot...it's that ''I'm not the one'' type of feel song. Everytime I listen to it, I'm glad that I'm not worse off with the way things happen from day to day.

Ulver's Catastrophe is amazing. I love you DM. LOVE. SEX.

I've been addicted to Mira's "going nowhere" and Autumn's Grey Solace's "The Unshakeable Demon" and "Treasure Box".

Mira = Alt rock...dream pop type of band...and Autumn's Grey Solace = Shoegaze/ethereal.

Well, I'm usually stuck on some craze or another...right now one particular song is absolutely permeating my brain, all thanks to my dad...

Even though it's completely not my sort of music, Eminem's Fack is just stuck up there and it's not going away. It's got to be one of the funniest songs I've heard in a long while.

As for particular songs that I just really like and listen to them a lot, lately Godsmack's Voodoo has been playing a fair bit.

And of course, pretty much every slow part of the day, I turn on the 300 and God of War 2 soundtracks. Such sheer badassery.

Dirty Magic

In my own simple way
I think she wants me only
She said," Come over right away."
But she's just not that way
Her little soul is stolen
See her put on her brand new face

Pull the shades
Razor blades
You're so tragic
I hate you so
but love you more
I'm so elastic
The things you say
Games you play
Dirty magic

I should know better than to think I'd reach inside her
It's all a cloudy kind of daze
She's not so sweet today
She mocks me, I'm no fighter
It all just seems like such a waste

ok. you're gay. :p

Also:
These Colors Don't Run

It's the same in every country
When you say you're leaving
Left behind the loved ones
Waiting silent in the hall
Where you're going lies adventure
others only dream of
Red and green light this is real
and so you go to war

For the passion, for the glory
For the memories, for the money
You're a soldier, for your country
What's the difference, all the same

Far away from the land of our birth
We fly a flag in some foreign earth
We sailed away like our fathers before
These colours don't run, from a cold bloody war

There is no one that will save you
Going down in flames
No surrender certain death you
Look it in the eye
On the shores of tyranny you
Lonely unmarked graves

Crush the human wave
Paying for my freedom, with your
Lonely unmarked graves

For the passion, for the glory
For the memories, for the money
You're a soldier, for your country
What's the difference, all the same

Far away from the land of our birth
We fly a flag in some foreign earth
We sailed away like our fathers before
These colours don't run, from a cold bloody war

I know what thats like. I have these four or five 17 year olds that are servers and all they EVER ****ing do is run up to me and start singing that damn song. I'm like "yo, back off or I'll **** your food up and then the customers will be pissed".

I basically run that bitch and I've been working there for less than a month, I love it.

I get songs stuck in my head, but they usually get on my nerves so I stop listening to them. I've never been "addicted" to a song for too long. It drives me wild.
