Basically, it's songs that you relate to, songs you agree with, or however a song relates to you and your life.

The song that's probably helped me the most recently was In The Deep by Bird York. It's not exactly the kind of music I listen to, but the first time I heard it my life was screwed up and I listened to it over and over again basically all that night.

Anyway, your turn.

Beethoven's 5th Symphony, also known as Requiem. My particular favorite version is by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and I've seen descriptions that list Metallica as being involved as well although the truth of this I do not know.

The song feels so right to me, because it steadily advances along in rising and falling rhythm, much like the ups and downs my life experiences as it moves along on its ride. I feel like all I can really do is just close my eyes and let it take me with it, because it rings of beauty and strength and triumph, and all of the other things that form my perception of the world. I just want to ride it out until it's over, and hope that like the song my life continues with a constant power and rhythm throughout until it finishes with flair and elegance.

What it boils down to is that the song's rhythm just resonates with me, striking a chord with all of the things in my life that to me make up my life. It's a beautiful melody, powerfully played by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and I'll probably love it for my entire life.

Queen Adreena - Hide From Time. The song title is really fitting..because the whole feel of the song is hypnotic...and you can really get lost in it (atleast I can). Often times when I was having "trouble" in life I'd just pop in my Queen Adreena - Taxidermy disk and get lost in it..especially that song.

Another one is "Godhead - Far Too Long". "Ashram - Sweet Autumn" (part II) is also a great and beautiful track. Very inspiring.

The CD How To Clean Everything by Propagandhi. I forget which song it was. It was the first time I'd heard politically driven hard angry punk rock. As a teenager slowly approaching adulthood, I had been spending a lot of time thinking about who I was as a person, particularly what my political philosophies were, and the album seemed to capture all the conclusions that I had independently come to. It think it helped turn me into the angry politically confused person I am today.

On a side note, I still cry and have an overwhelming urge to hug Chris when I listen to Less Talk, More Rock.

Die Die My Darling by Metallica because it helps me understand what it must be like living with me.

Master of Puppets by Metallica because it shows what probably happened to black slaves during the existance of slavery in America which was not the whites fault.

Ride The Lightning by Metallica because it is very loud and fast and is the way I want to live my life when I am older, but it's wierd with the parts about electric chairs.

Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue because it tells me that it is good to be free and do psychotic things such as sky diving naked from an aeroplane. And drag racing in top fuel funny cars!

Sticky Sweet by Motley Crue is also good because it tells you what every guy needs except for x42bn6.

Girl Don't Go Away Mad Just Go Away by Motley Crue because it tells you what life would be like as x42bn6.

Rattlesnake Shake by Motley Crue it is about what every guy has done at least once in his life and luckily this includes x42bn6 as well.

Almost every single song I have listened to except for rap and hip-hop has influenced my life.
