Someone just gave me a weird build idea!

A Bowadin!

Think about it..

with enough ias gear, max fanat, and a good cruel bow, or botd bow..you can own O_O

Max: Fanaticism - for ias/dmg when dueling
Max: Vigor - for out running most chars and then switch to fana to shoot at em
Max: Salvation - for use against sorcs

OR

Alternate build:

Max: Fanaticism - for ias/dmg
Max: FoH - secondary skill
Max: holy shock - syn for foh
Max: conviction - use with FoH

I think I might try this ..

btw: stats depends on which build u choose

My friend made a bowadin back in .09 which worked fine. But he had maxed fana and HS and taken some into vengeance. he only had goldstrike arch, and still he was good. He tried to get some gloves with guided charges but never found any.

A barb doesnt hav any skills to help out the bows, also there no mastery to help boost the bow unlike a pally wit their fanta.

Well, on my summoner necromancer I use Widowmaker on switch for getting the first kill. Its a nice bow, on the average, It has about 150 max damage, +guided(oskill), Itd. Im looking for Multi-shot gloves right now with the Itd it will be effective.

well viz heres the ideal set up you'll need..i've seen of couple of them...


windowmaker bow
andys visage visage +2 and ias jsut spiffy
highlords ammy
steelrender gloves
verndenguo belt
2x raven
boots any will do
and armor i am not to sure....maybe a 4 soc 15 ias armor ?? or shaft?


skills to max

fana
holy shock and syneries ......add's a shitload of light dmge to ur attack....i prequisties..


mostly use fana to stun lock peeps then switch to holy shock for some 1337 dmge

I use my botd bow with my hammerdon sometimes. Concentration adds alot more damage then fanat. It works decent enough.

Im sry but fanta does more dmg than concen... plus more IAS and more AR

the pala who used guided had widomaker a unique ward bow(unique, think ladder only) which gives some to guided

cruel ward bow of butchery w/ 40/15 ias

If I were to use my best gear I would use:

160/60 ias sup archon
40/15 08 gaze
9 crb, 20 ias, 3 ll, 20 life craft gloves
raven
viper whorl
travs
highlords
cruel ward bow of butchery w/ 40/15 ias

This gear with the skills maxed right..or even widdowmaker instead of my cruel..would do good

hmm, i just checked out arreats summit, seams like your right. fanat does 27% more damage at lvl 20. I guess i thought it did more because i never could get my fanat up to lvl 42 XD
