Some dude told me to use a Spirit sheild, you need 156 strength, WTF?

yes and no.. not really... it is the lowest strength req. 4 os non-pally sheild...

there is an aegis ( elite tower sheild) but it reqs close to 200 str.

you could always save on the dex with base (but i always like max block)

actually it depends life vs max block

more life = better vs anything not melee
max block = better vs anything melee

Well max block blocks anything that's not AoE such as fire ball.

You could do it on the weapon. But it will ruin the wand you want to get later. Most sorc builds involve massing vit and using strength nowadays.

Max Block could protect your life when you need it, even if you have like 2-3k life.

Either way, i like using spirit crystal sword (until i get occy) and lidless. But i do think its a bit wierd having so much str requirment for a 40s shield.

The only point of seeing Spirit on a weapon is for a bone necromancer until you get the unique lich wand.
