Are your wisdom teeth well-developed, like fully grown out? Or is there going to have to be some digging to cut them out?

Because the former is no big deal, it's just sore for a while and you keep fresh gauze on the sockets for a day or so, while being hopelessly doped up on prescription painkillers.

The latter...that'll be a little unhappy.

When the doctor says to hold still wiggle around as much as possible that helps him to wiggle the teeth out. Oh and pour lemon juice in there when you are done.

yeah they put me under too. They say the bottom ones are the worst to have removed. I only had top wisdom teeth.
