So I was playing Brood War and... (Spoilers possibly.)

I was cheating, and being massively bored without my internet. I was on the Zerg Missions, beating them fast to see those little cut scenes and whatnot. I beat the second to last Zerg mission and got that bonus mission, and me, well I've NEVER heard of it before. I was totally shocked by what the mission said and what the ending was like. I suggest, for those fo you who haven't played it to go do so now.

DARK ORIGIN (Spoilers!)​

For those of you who have, what do you guys think of the concept of a Protoss/Zerg Hybrid? What greater power was Duran speaking of, and why is it reflected by the creature within the stasis cell? I think the Xel'Naga have something to do with it but it's just speculation for me at this point. ^.^

People think to limited. If it is going to represented, it won't be a "Kerrigan" where it looks and acts like one, and looks and acts like another in different aspects. IT will be an entirely new creation, with the genese. Otherwise a zerg with ps storm is retarded, and doesn't fit the prophetic "It will be stronger than everyhitng" sorta shit Duran was hinting at. Plus I dont beleive the Xel'Naga would do anyhting like that

@ Pan: I was thinking that too...but Xel'naga popped into my head because they created both races..then Duran says, ''It's role in the cosmic order was preordained when the stars were young'' not sure how old the Xel'naga are, but if the plan for the hybrid is that old, the person whose power it represents must be older or as old.

Anyway, I've read several theories (just theories, probaly fan-fiction) that there is another ancient race, enemy to the Xel'Naga, that found out their creations, and are trying to use them to create a weapon to defeat the Xel'Naga.

Sounds too cliché to be true.

Theres another secret mission that can be played in SC n64, without any cheats and shit, almost impossible to get there.

I forget what it was about though, I think that ghost that dies in bw..
