One way to get rid of the dupe problem is to socket anything thats duped ASAP to an item that way the dupe no longer exists, its only the item with the mod that exists then.

Hmmm, thats new to me, never had to deal with that one. I know a item that i got was a dupe rune, and i socketed it to make a CoH it never got defleted and I still have that CoH on a old ladder character.

Nope it works. The rune gains a different ID when it's inserted into the item I believe.

No. You guys never heard of the runes poofing in season one ? People had enigmas and poof some runes poofed and some changed into ith but when you left game , no more ith :/

Oh come on....the Ith on the ladder for a few hours? Yes, Blizzard can detect duped runes. I thought this was common knowledge now.

yes it is, but not when already socketed into an item, I had a knowed duped zod rune. I socketed it into an armor and I still have it. That has never been deleted, even though a friend who also had the same item which is aslo duped disappeared along with his duped 290's
