There's literally a shit ton of music out there that I know, love, and wanna listen to, but for some reason I can't think of a single song for the life of me..thus I've been at a lack of music for a long while. How do I go about remedying something this extreme? I know LOTS of songs but can NEVER think of any..:(

That sucks. I accidentally threw away a list of songs I wanted to DL and now I can't remember them... I agree with Pale Horse...

I dont know about where you are in America.. but anyway over here when im out i have a number in my phone book when i dial it i hold my phone up near towards the speakers for 10-20 secs and hang up 2 mins later i get a text with the name and artist of the tune on it. The one im with is really acurate but there are shit ones out there. Get some recomendations from friends and look in like the ad sections of music magazines and stuff, theres good ads there..

It aint too good with like real underground music thats only just released.. But you just ask the DJ or the guy with the sterio system anyway so its not a problem.

Guess it all depends on your style of music. If you are into "POP" you can listen to the radio, watch MTV ect. but if you are into stuff not mainstream it will be alot harder for you to find.

I assume from your avatar and signature, you are into darker types of music, (of couse I could be wrong)

If so drop some names of bands you presently like and I can probably help you some.

I like pretty much anything that catches my ear, irregardless of genre. Though, I've been known to stray away from genre's that I stereotype. That being said..bands that I mostly listen to are band such as Nickelback, Linkin Park, Disturbed, etc..a lot of mainstream rock, with some metal, etc. But as I've said I'm open to anything that catches my ear. Oh..I also love J-Pop / J-Rock. ^_^

Is that directed to me?

Jason - If you can give a style of music as refference I could come up with better.
Dry Kill Logic - Rot
Snot - Anything really
Cat Stevens - (I garentee you heard of his songs he is from the 70's ... Cat's in the Cradle)
40 Below Summer - Sideshow

Some more as well:
Nonpoint - Bullet with a name on it, What a Day
Skindred - Rastametal (yea I said it)

If you like bands like Killswitch Engage, and Hatebreed you might like these:
Madball - Heaven and Hell
Suicidal Tendencies (80's metal/punkish)
Soulfly (Brazilian Metal)
Hed (PE) (Rap/metal)
Man O War (Native American Metal)
Lamb Of God - Ruin
Helmet - Unsung
GWAR (Anything)
Fear Factory - (Anything)
Faith No More ... Anything By Mike Patton really
Offspring
