Sniper's ultimate guide for heroes

As there are many heroes in the game of WC this could put pressure on the person not knowing what hero when so here I am to try to solve the problem.

First in my opinion there 6 types of heroes:

Melee heroes: these guys you just put in an area cast a spell every other minute and let them kill things not much micro and need little skill.EX. Tauren Cheiftan

Micro Masters: these heroes arent all that great in combat but if you focus on them get them to high levels then they are some of the best. EX DH and Blade Master

Tactical Mages: these mages will focus more on helping your army rather then fight and usually there only defense is a summmon by themselves.EX ArchMage


Battle Mages: these guys focus killing things and do good job too these guys usually have only 1 tactical spell.EX Far Seer


Hero Killers: these people will be slautering heroes left and right as they were built for it. EX MK warden

no offence but its no relaly ult guide nor very helpful =/ Mebbe u could edit the post and add some useful tips on using those heroes? I will help u if u need. (however, we are already doing it =/)

Hmm... and MK? He should be both melee and hero killer. He can tank and has clap, but also slays heros with his bolt and has bash, which is mainly useful for temporarily taking out one strong unit (like heros).

Gotta love the bugger Still my favorite with the mage..

You must try to avoid to have a mage vs hero killer ,like BM vs MK,the AM's elementals can save you for a while but you should decide that,some races like orcs- possibilities are BM/FS which arent good if you have Blood Mage or pally.Get AM or MK try to be a counter of their heroes

I don't see a problem with mage and pally? Actually it's a very nice combo! Pally in front with shield, mage blizzard/strike and if the enemy is foolish enough to try to focus fire on your mage all the way behind your army losing valuable time to do damage to your army you let them fire a bit while he gets healed and use holy light. And else you can always retreat him.

I really don't mind if ppl want to kill my mage


Btw what would the keeper of the grove be.. he's an intel hero, so weak, but got entangling roots which is a real nice herokiller (entangling + focus fire = auch), does have summonables tho thorns aura as well, so you'll have to put him in front a bit as well.

Really bs aura for kotg really if you ask me..

the keeper is my worst enemy...he is actually a match for my mk or my am, as his entangling roots is very anoying. Also, he can summon those stupid treants, and give a low level immolation to all his units, so he really busts up my melee usage, unless i go mass armor knights, so it really doesnt matter.

Next in the guide to heroes HU heroes.

Archmage: type, Tactical mage

Way to use him. the mage is best used supporting your other troops such as Footys and knights and spellcasters. Have him support using WE Blizz( even though Blizz is nerfed) and the aura to help other heros and usin MT for speed delivery and ambush.

Common Strategies: Newb: attack with mellee use blizz and We
Use sorcs to invis a knight and get him a in enemy base the MT a attack force in the base :Note: I like that srtat myself but I add in a little extra by then using a Tele staff back to base the use another MT to bring in seige Engines.
