I still believe that Snape is evil. Mainly because he really is just an Opportunist. Took refuge at Hogwarts when his ass was going to be grass, and now joins sides with the side that looks like its going to win.

Its soul isn't completely black, just he's an Opportunist which can lead him down some dark-er roads.
