Smite questions

What abilites affect smite damage and what don't? I'm makin my first smiter, want to know about how weapons affect smite, crushing blow, deadly strike, elemental damage, ll and ml, anything you know would be appreciated.

have a look at point 4 "Was wirkt auf Smite" (what has effects on Smite) - most of the table is also in English and 'ja' means 'yes' and 'nein' means 'no'...

well, ty, but those guides rnn't ne good lol. Well, im sure there are, but there are 3 problems.
1) one is in German
2) I heard 1.11 destroyed Grief for smiters
3) i want to physically understand it, not just have a gear list- that way, i can get crappy gear, or low lvl gear. My main concern is my sorceress now, but i wanna have a mediokre smiter to go along with it, just for fun. If I know how a smiter works, I can find the right gear on my own- i've basically played for long enough to figure out what equipment i would need.
