i wana solo trist soon. I just want to see if yall think my guy can make it.
so he does 1.5k dmg, 17k defence,-39res 4 fire,cold,light-_-, and 16res poison. Oh and i also have around 1.2k life.
so my gear is guilleams face, eth dracs, alma negra, gores, verdungos, uped n umed vipermagi, black runeword, 2/1 seraphs, ravenfrost,carrionwind,few life sc and a offensive gc.
let me hear your opinions

i think 1.5k is good + plus hte 90%cb i get from black, gore and guilleam

His res/life is too low
Get a 30 res maras and maybe replace helm with coa (though you'll lose some CB, and some people suggest coa is overrated :-/ )
but you can make up that loss of crushing blow by equipping a last wish
oh yea, grab a 5BO+ CTA- it helps
EDIT: if you dont have anni, get it, it'll boost your stats and res
EDIT2: oh yea, you might want to replace that vipermagi (not sure with what though, fort/duress might work)
EDIT3: Another thing, you might want exile >.<

Smiters have to be 1337 in order to solo trist.

Exile is the main thing you need, the defiance and life tap are critical, as well as you need higher damage, more life, and more resists.

try a uped shaftstop (i got one 2.3k def with eth zod in it) but really a normal with cham would be great...DR is something u will always require in pvm. also tgod might be a good switch to keep in inventory vs meph. also make sure u have good ias bp and alma negro will not cut it. hoz is cheap and very good...exile however is better. make sure u have at least a couple Pcombat charms for def and dmg boost. the prime ammulet for a smiter would be armagetton slippers...very costly. mara or a decent crafted ammy really would do the trick. also try a CoA works great with a pb last wish

Charms
You will need some Large charms with str,and one large charm with 5dex.
Some sc's with 11% light res/fire res.
No anni,no torch.

Helm:
Kiara's Guardin(Tiara) - +60% all res or better socketed with Ral rune.

Ammu:
Highlord's amu, you don't need other,this is the best.

Shield:
Upped Zakarum +170% and better, socketed with Ort rune (godly lighting res).

Weapon:
Black runeword in 3 socketed Flail (Thul + Io + Nef) - high crushing blow + high speed,needed for 6 frames with smite.

Rings:
Raven 20dex/xxx - you don't need ar,your smite hits every time.
Dwarf - any Dwarf is good.
You can change your Dwarf in Tristram with whisp, vs Uber Meph.Actually with your res,you don't need whisp.

Gloves:
Dracul's 15str would be cool.You must know, lifeleech doesn't works with smite,but lifetap works fine.

Armor:
Duress runeword in Archon or better armor. Any duress is good for you ;-)

Ok,Dude heres what u need to get to have a Godly smiter that can handle Ubersk
WEAPON:Grief,or,Lw (LatWish)
SHIELD:Eth Exile,or,Hoz
HELM:Coa,or,Shako
ARMOR:CoH
AMMY:Maras (Or i Guess seraphs is good but maras adds Res )
RING 1:Raven Frost
RING 2:Soj,or,BK
BELT:Arach,or,Dungos
GLOVESracs,or,Crafted Ias res Gloves (like i use )
BOOTS:Gore Rider
SECOND SLOT ITEMS:Cta and Lidless (or sig shield wich ever is fine )

and lastly u should be using anni and torch it helps alot (even tho ur doing trist for torch -.-)

ok this i shte part were me (the nub) just mde a smiter in like a day and i totally dun knwo what i was doing but i maxed out smite holy sheild and i was doing defiance as my aura but i forgot and ****ed it up and did not get an dmg enhancing aura should i use conc or fanata and so i have like 10k def lol at like lvl 50 now im 75 and dun know what i should use i got shit at the moment in items but eh well he is laddefr lol and he sucks asss lol cant killa quill rat in hell lol but any help would be help full an dim thinking this is th ewrong topic but o well lol were all talking bou tsmiters so who cares really lol.

i gave my smiter fort, and his damage didnt increase, can someone tell me why? I was told that the fort is bugged, but i made it myself so i know it isn't "bugged." I know some things dont work for smiters, like life leech, could the ed from fort just be like life leech, and not work for him, or what? -thanx
