Ok, so you've d/led the skin.
go to your cs folder>> cstrike>>models>> save the file.

Now open the folder and copy the skins. go back to models a paste em.

Thats how i do it

You have to copy the models into the models folder (out of the .zip), it doesn't know to use the models in folders. To remove them just delete them.

Yep, exactly. All of the .mdl files go in the models folder (player models go in models\player\[modelname] and shield and weapons that go with shields go in the shield folder), all wav files go in the sound\weapons folder, and all .spr files go in the sprites folder.

Only for player models. All models are in the models folder. Shield models go in the shield folder (which is in the models folder), player models go in their own folders (one for each model) inside the player folder (also in the models folder), and the rest go right into the models folder.

No, that's fine. It just means that it takes the old knife (from CS 1.5) and switches it over so you can use it in CS 1.6.

The problem in that picture above is that you have each weapon in its own folder. The knife and other weapons should not have their own folders. Take all of the models out of that folder and put them in the models folder, with the w_chickenc4.mdl and other models.

If you STILL have trouble installing the models, send an IM to master_america@hotmail.com on messenger.
