Some people enjoy single player, as opposed to BNet were the everage intelligence level is that of an 8 year old...

Also there aren't any bots spamming you 24/7, or morons. or scams, or expensive prices, or fear of pk'ing, or morons, OR rushers, did I mention morons?

Some people can't afford internet like others, so Single Player is a good alternative.

The internet isn't everything... Single Player is/was a good other option. Oh and yes, I do play single player as well as BNet.

Whenever I play Diablo II, I do play on b.net...but sometimes I find the people on it unbearably idiotic. As khull said, the intelligence level isn't too high.

Single player i use to test shit out, like i got a hacking program, and ill try diff chars, like bow assassins, etc, and like what Djant has been saying in dclone, im tryign shit out, and i use it to beat all teh nub'd hackers on open... which is SINGLE PLAYER operitive.

I played single player for about a week to the hang of Diablo 2 when I first bought it.

If I find a night when the average intelligence drops to sub-human levels, I just create a solo b.net game and have fun.

First of all I've never seen anyone reach lvl 99 in single.
you cant trade

i actually just recently (actually only moments ago) reinstalled d2 on my comp and find single player not too bad, i do enjoy questing with others though, but if i do play with other people its usually people i know and we will play over IP games so we dont have to deal with the idiots on bnet

Not only I am a complete nub, I lost my patience dealing with other nubs.

Therefore, I play single. I just wanted to get through the game, no spambots, no hackers, no quest for special super unique best equipment ever. :/ Just playing. Though Duriel was a pain, oh yes.
