Simple JED Question

Why does it say right after i kill pindle "Pickit monitor disabled" then only picks up gold, then leaves the game. If a jewel drops it says Magic jewel dropped, but then never picks it up. I went and built a pickit-items file and put it in my items filter folder. All the items listed there have a 1 in the spot that means pick up. What did i do wrong. I'm sure this is easy to fix, please tell me.

simple JED answers

the monitor is "smart" in the fact that it does not turn on until you are at a boss and keeps you from dying.. downside is that unless it monitors a drop, you won't pick it up

if you have it set to pick up items, you WILL pick them up if you do not
1) chicken
2) leave the game from a timeout error

if you don't have them in your inventory, jed pitched it because it was junk
