Simple d2jsp configuring questions for a noob

I just downloaded d2jsp. I'm wondering how I could configure the mephrun to do chickens when life reaches a certain percentage, and, see what items it's able to pick up, and what items it has picked up. I also don't want it going back to town to refill anything.

Do I have to configure something so it can pick up anything. I've had the bot running for over three hours and I don't see anything in the stash or cube. (Where in Mephbot, I would've had tons of uniques already, including charms.)

I've done a search here, and I couldn't find an answer to these questions. Thanks.

What meph bot you using? Marsbrandmeph?
