A choice between male or female char's and difference's between the choices?

Unless it had a class system where every class could be either male or female, and not some classes protraining to a single sex only (Such as Amazons only being female), then sure. I wouldn't mind it at all but I also liked having a few classes that were only one sex and not two. If it makes all classes like that, where you can choose the genre, it won't seem lik a Diablo game anymore. :-/

Maybe this is going too far into rpg, but maybe if like this time in D3 if they letyou distinguish facial features, that you can customize your character. Like blue hair /w mowhawk... etc etc. yeah. or maybe thats just another one of my lame ideas.

It would be nice to mix them. Have classes that can be male or female then have certain classes that cna be only one. Such as Amazons being female-only and say something like a Paladin being Male only, I don't know how you would go about it. I just think if you could determine most of the sexes of each class it might get dull and not seem like Diablo at all. L(

Also, I think it would be more realistic and less boring in the long run.

I also think that you should have more control in general over appearance.

Well D2 establishes that pallys are not male only fara is a former paladin, the church of Zakarum (you know the one meph coruppted) is the church the Pallys come from and she is a former Zakarum, anyway I like the idea of gender choices and simple graphical changes like hair and face just a few varieties of each would still make a great deal of diversity in character stylings. And perhaps minor changes to skills and stats dependent on gender such as males are more geared toward str and vitality wheras the woman are more agile and have higher dex and energy (proof women are more agile - female strippers) no alternate races its established diablo continuity that humans are the only humanoid good race, the cat people used to be good and i think the goat people too, so without the influence of the prime evils perhaps they could be included in as good guys but not playable characters. wouldnt have the right feel,

actually women should have more Vit

its proven that women are better at survival at men and that they dont overexert themselves with short bursts of energy like men

Well it was just an example! If you wanted, you could have two different classes that do the same thing, one for each sex. Such as, A Paladin for the males, and a Valkyrie for the Females. Sorceror and Sorceress, well you get the idea! ^^

Most all MMORPGs allow you to pick character gender. Even if D3 isn't a MMO, it'll still be close, and should allow for more character customization.
