I have been really bored as of late and my college will be letting us out December 13 (yay). Anyways, I really enjoyed WoW for the 6 months that I played it. However, I am skeptical about "unfreezing" my account as I don't really know if it would be worth my time and money to play again. Because of this, I came up with a few questions that may help me make a decision.
1. Have Horde and Alliance balanced out more, or are Horde players still vastly outnumbered?
2. What noteworthy additions have been added since January of this year?
3. Are there still severe stability problems on some of the servers? I played on several that seemed to always lag, but a friend of mine told me that blizzard had purchased some new hardware or something around March.
4. Can regular WoW characters be transferred to expansion?
5. Would playing my level 60 char (Paladin) be worth using? In other words, has there been any changes in end-game instances and such?
I appreciate all the information I can get on these things as boredom is setting in. Work and school keep me busy throughout most of the year, but it's starting to slow down now as I am getting into easier classes.
