Those shamans were standing still?

Pallys are a defensive hybrid and shamans are offenive hybrid.

The thing that pisses me off about shammies, is in WSG when they'd earth bind after they'd get the flag.

It's actually not fine. Put yourself in alliance's position where you enter a room with 4 different earthbind totems and two shaman spamming frost shock on you. You are not going anywhere with that flag. On the retrospect, you can have 2 paladins guarding the flag and they can both Hammer of Justice you for a good 12 seconds but then their cooldown is up leaving the flag open for someone else to pick up after you.

On the offensive druids and shaman are kings for flag stealing. Speed and mobility are the defining factors in WSG so alliance is crippled when compared to the horde because it makes the alliance more dependant upon druids for flag stealing which is not that great considering that they have leather armor and the inability to use shields.

Oh and grats to the moderator who butchered this thread by having my second post, _Chris' post and Digital Elite's post removed from the "Shaman Video" thread.

PS: If you can't beat them, join them. Also I have a 30 hunter alt on Dragonmaw. I know how it is.

Actually it's not completely like that.. If there's two shaman, there can only be two earthbind totems down. Also if there's 2 paladins which both use their hammer on you, it's going to last about 9 seconds, not 12. Two shamans guarding is a lot more dangerous than two paladins beceause shamans can dish out damage pretty fast with shocks and other stuff, while paladins usually can't. The only thing that scares me as a horde is getting hammer of justice'd then the paladin's FRIEND starts hitting me.

When my guild does CTF, we NEVER let a shaman get the flag. Sure, their armor is higher, but they can't shapeshift to take off any slow effects or anything. One crippling poison or frost nova and the shaman is stuck. Druids in the other hand can go wherever they want, whenever they want, with pretty much nothing able to stop them. Also, sure druids can only wear leather, but druids can get up to 13,000 armor and 6000+ health which makes us even BETTER than shamans at holding the flag in tough situations. In my opinion, hunters are good at guarding the flag, maybe along with rogues and mages, and druids are offence. The rest are merely there to cause a distraction.

Shamans are sometimes over powered, and sometimes not. It depends on the build, the player, and the class theyre fighting. There are several shamans in my guild who suck at pvp. They gave up on WSG and AV within a week of being released. All the "OMG SHAMANS HAX" bullshit is just over spread. If some alliance would stop being pussies and actually fight them maybe youd find a way to beat them.
