I used the above and keep on getting that msg in Diablo II LOD... thought I saved my character, turned out I had overwritten it by mistake so now I'm stuck. (yes.. I know... stupid move 
)
All i actually changed were some of the levels for my curses, potions etc.... I tried to manually set back to what i thought I remebered the levels were... no luck.
Can anyone help ? any suggetsions ? I dont really wnat to go abck to the very begining as you can imagine
