I'll keep this topic updated for all DS related stuff I find officially and through the homebrew scene.
Homebrew
DS Linux
http://www.dslinux.org/ <~ Some guys have gotten a text based Linux to
run on it, and with some of the new devices being made might even get
a GUI Linux up on it.
WiFime
http://www.aaronrogers.com/nintendods/wifime.php <~ Someone hacked the
DS's WiFi capabilities to be able to connect your PC to it and play
games from it. Available for download are some dumps from E3 that
include Electro Plankton, Advanced Wars Dual Strike, and the exclusive
Zelda DS trailer. It works like passme (mentioned lower) and allows
the playing of homebrew apps on your DS, just through wifi instead of
the GBA slot.
NeoFlash
http://www.neoflash.com/ <~ One of the big devices on the market now,
but too pricey. Plays all sorts of roms, and it seems commercial DS
dumps. It uses a device like the passme, just renamed (lol...) and has
something to do with a USB loader it seems? I dunno, seemed overly
complicated, but is the only complete DS hardware hack out there, and
the easiest to use.
Movie Advance
http://movieadvance.com/ <~ Currently the best GBA Media Player. Convert all movies and music into it's proprietary format with it's included software to listen to music and watch movies through your GBA or DS. Plays NES/GB/GBA roms/homebrew but only if they are below 256kb. If combined with a passme and the firmware hack you can play roms/homebrew NES/GB/GBA/DS up to 4mb. Reads CF type I cards. Also displays pictures and can read txt files.
M3 Adapter
http://www.m3adapter.com/ <~ The next version of the GBA Media Player. They say it does all the things (and more) of the Neo Flash, but
it will obviously cost a lot less as it will run from whatever memory
you decide to buy yourself. The big step up with this is there's
seemingly built in ram to the player that the previous versions didn't
have, which made it impossible to emulate or play commercial DS games.
Passme
http://www.dspassme.com/ <~ This is a neat little device. It reroutes
the DS to the GBA slot it has, which means you can boot up
roms/homebrew apps from either a flash cart, or the newly hacked GBA
Media player (what I have). Allows the playing of homebrew DS apps and
anything from emulators to commercial Gameboy Advance games I believe.
GBAMP Firmware Hack
http://www.ndshb.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=26 <~
The firmware hack that the afformentioned passme uses. Allows the GBA
Media player V2 to act like a gba flashcart, which is essentially a lot
cheaper. $60 compared to like $150+ for a good 512mb flash cart >.>
SuperCard
http://www.hopebuy.com/ <~ This is the Supercard. Similar to the GBA media player, but less geared towards movies and music, and more for the GBA roms. More affordable than a flash cart, supports save games, and comes in both SD and CF versions. Also, with the Superpasskey add on, supposedly you can play DS roms. Works like a passme, and is to be released soon.
WiFi Bounty
http://sc.tri-bit.com/dswfb <~ Lastly, a link I thought was funny.
There's currently a $1500 bounty for whoever can crack the DS's WiFi.

Official DS Stuff
NDS Online
Q. When Is It Coming?
A. The DS will be going online in Q4, from October-December, depending on when the first games come out. The first games that are supposed to be online are Animal Crossing DS, MarioKart DS, and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. From what I've heard Animal Crossing DS comes out 11/21/05, MarioKart DS comes out 11/7/05, and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland comes out 10/18/05.
Q. How can I utilize DS's WiFi?
A. The DS can utilize your wireless 802.11b or g router to connect online with compatable games, or you can connect your DS via Nintendo's soon to be released official USB cable to your computer and use your internet connection to play online games. Additionaly you may also play online at hotspots located at your various internet cafes/starbucks/etc.
Q. Will this service cost money?
A. Besides the initial cost of buying the game and your ISP, no. Nintendo does not plan on charging for any of it's online gaming services, but there is no word on whether the same will be true for third party games.

Note to mods (and users as well): The stuff mentioned in the first section of this post is meant to further the development of homebrew applications, and I do not condone nor promote the illegal use of roms. The afformentioned devices are used to back up your own games. Do not ask for roms here.
