Okay, so I got Qwest DSL. It's plugged into my computer...which is in my room. The modem itself has wireless capabilities...and is activated. Another computer...which is in the living room, has a wireless network card in it. Both computers use Windows XP...how can I get net access to the computer in the living room?

I'm no good at network stuff...

Thanks.

Wireless is not insecure. There are plenty of security measures you need to take though. Such as locking your connection down by MAC address. So your modem is a wireless access point as well? if so, windows should automatically detect the connection and ask if you wnat to connect to it.

Wireless networks aren't slow, I'm on one and I still get good speeds. As for setting it up try reading the manual.
