Server status images

My friend wants to start up a webpage and on it the server status. Like the Halo Forum (It's still there?!), indicating Zaku's server's online status.

How does one go about doing it?

If it helps, it's a Ragnarok Online server.

Well not sure, its most likely some kind of Javascript;


but if it helps, i did run something similar, a "online help" if you will; were they gave me a javascript code for the status.
