Seriously im new to this...

ok im not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, but here goes...

i play diablo more than youd think tho ive only gotten as far as act 3, but ive never done anything like modding or hacking in my life.
someone help explain to me how to go about it step by step?

one more thing, in diablospace, in the editor section, does jamellas hero editor work for v1.10?

need to know... because i cant even boot the mods... so id greatly appreciate it. thanx

jamella was only up to v1.09 and i dont think its that great i currently use hero editor v.80 if i could find where i found it i would post the link for you. i know i found it here so ask around someone should have it.

d2sector.com has the newest up to date files and shit but the sticky says a few also in the Bots And Editors Section.

well i went in there, checked it out, but guys is this the v1.10 editor?

im sure thats it...but hey i need expert-modder advice here? how do you upload/extract or whatever the mods? please, if you could help me, you couldnt help me more. thanks for the help youve offered though.

the hero editor is for v1.10, v.90 is the newest version

you make a new folder in your diablo 2 directory called "Mod" without the quotes. Put the mod you want in there ( If you have multiple mods make different folders IE: Mod, Mod2, Mod3 etc... ). Make a new diablo 2 shortcut on your desktop and right click in and go to properties. change the target to end with -mod and you should be fine.
