I've noticed a lot of people on Europe Classic sc (where i play most) are trying to trade all their dupes for godly legit items. I am presuming this is in anticipation of 1.10, as Bliz have basically said that all dupes will (probably) be deleted. Is this a stupid idea or not? Ideas, suggestions and thoughts plz

no one can tell if all dupes will be deleted, but i think that its probably a good idea to get rid of ur dupes just to be on the safe side

I dont understand how they can do it. As I have never actually duped an item myself, I have had to find some very good legit items over a long period to eventually trade for my 249s, sojs, 888s, etc I have only ever played within the rules set by Bliz and the game itself. Only by playing for over a year have i learnt which items are dupes and which aren't. A lot of people have no idea that this great bow they have just traded for something that looks incredibly inferior is a dupe and could be deleted in a matter of weeks/months/years (depending on 1.10 final release). If this does happen, i think it will be very unfair on uninformed or even illinformed people, and also people like myself, who have worked hard to find stupid amounts of great legits to trade for one supa dupe item.

All items with the same coding/id tag will be deleted. Just a guess. But it is a good idea, maybe drive the hackes=rs away for a little while.

Hmmm, great idea, but if u read my first post - i play Classic mainly and therfore no mercs. The main point wasnt really how to save my dupes -- im not that bothered -- i was just saying how unfair on a lot of players it will be. What is Rust Storm btw, just heard it mentioned a couple of times.

I brought this point up in the official battle.net forums. All of the people there just got angry at me for making fun of their beloved Blizzard. They didn't seem to grasp the concept that innocent people were going to lose a lot of items. Then they made fun of me from being from Battleforums...In conclusion, most of the people in the battle.net forums are immature children with no grasp on reality.
