Seeking Damage reduction facts

Anyone with info on a good web page covering damage reduction and absorbtion in detail ?
Any help would be nice.

Not in detail but heres what i know. You can get up to 50% (at least in .10) damage reduction. And it reduces physical dmg. Well there ya go ^^. Absorbation is the same thing but with the elements (cold, poison etc.).
