My current comp has nothing for protection.

No firewall, no AV, no pop-up blockers, no spybot, nothing.

Can you recommend everything I should get (Kazaa hehe) for my new comp when it gets setup?

I need the best of a:

Firewall
Anti-Virus
Popup blocker
Anti-spyware
Anti-adware

I'm sorry, I just find that hard to believe.....

For anti-virus, there's something free online, Avant-something, free and free unlimited virus updates and not a CPU resource hogger.

Was that at me? The apps where all demo's of course, but they are stupid at that. No registry files, re-install. Brand new

Zone Alarm caused all animations online to not be animated, but still images, so I got rid of that. As for the others, just as I expected. Thanks guys ;)

Firewall: Not important. Unless you really start to feel threatened, Windows XP's integrated firewall should be enough...I mean, its 128-bit isn't it?

Anti-Virus: Norton Anti-Virus 2002-3 (Stay away from 2004...gay)

Popup Blocker: I use Avant Browser, so I don't worry about it

Anti-spyware: I don't download anything stupid, so I don't have that problem ;)

Anti-adware: Ad-aware

Is there an easy to turn off firewall I can get?

I mean, turning on/off the firewall in XP is bothersome, since I am constantly needing it to turn off for Direct Connect and File Sharing through AIM..

I've never had to =/ But if you use Zonealarm or Norton's Firewall, the CP is in the bottom right hand side of your display, so it is very simple do disable.
