Alright, I happened to come by a video card that was suitable for my laptop and had 32 mb of RAM.... So I figured, if the requirments are 32 mb video ram, shading and lighting, and 3d whatever, and my card has that, that my video card would be good enough to play it. However it still fails......:scary

My father believes that my normal RAM is the problem, so he is getting me an upgrade to 512mb.... Do you think this could be the problem?

Note: The screen comes up, a cursor shows up, but nothing ever loads or anything.

since ur on a laptop id just like to let u know:

they arnt made for gaming (unless speced custom)
so there may be a chance u can NEVER EVER play wow on that comp...
unless u spend big bucks to make it that way but it would cost more then a new gaming laptop to do that. :shocked

im not sayin u cant play any game because u can still play like games like war 2 and maybe cs things like that... but im saying games like wow and maybe ever quest and halo 2 and unreal new games like that...

now if ur laptop was built for games and u know tat for a fact, then i dunno check with a local comp place (not best buy most time they dont know shit u just need high school degree to work at their comp place the geek squad or w/e its called) or check online...

i belive if its gaming ur problems circulate between these 2 things or maybe some others..
video card
&
sound card

thats what i know about laptops...
hope urs can work with games like wow :usad

I don't really know about laptops, but I had to get new drivers for some of the stuff on my comp, like my vid card, to get WoW to work, so maybe you need to update your drivers, it may not fix it, but its worth trying.

Might the fact that the window goes "Not Responding" affect it?
