Ok, I'm sure you remember when UED-NeonGreen used to hang out in the channel all the time. He was around so often, that some people wondered why he didn't just join our clan. That was partially because I wouldn't have let him. He was too good and he never would have found a challenge. He wanted to actually, but I turned him down. Eventually he'd get frustrated from the lack of competition, and that frustration would turn to bitterness toward the clan.
I wanted you to consider another clan so you could continue your training. We were actually going to set up a system where graduates of DoS_ would be recommended for recruitment into UED, but since I no longer have DeathLord, or someone close to UED anymore to keep in regular contact with them for me, that window has closed. I said that because I like gamers to continue to play people of their skill level in our clan. If you become one of the best... what are you going to do when you get bored? No one will really offer you a challenge.
This system was set up so former members would
always be allowed back to the channel, and to game and play with previous members, but it was to be like DoS was High School, and UED would be college.
I mentioned that briefly because I was thinking for your good. I don't want to see someone become so bored they start getting high off the power of running an entire squad. Additionally, leadership doesn't come from just skill. A level of Charisma is required in every leader to make their members feel welcome, and at the same time, respect who they take orders from.
I said you seemed different because I guess I just didn't take your jokes the way they were intended. I was in an odd mood from talking to Sara all night, and having to answer people's questions when they interrupted our conversation (me and sara), so my state of mind was a little on the darker side.
I'm sorry for the confusion, and the emotional duress it caused. I was thinking only for your sake. I understand your loyalty to the clan as well, and I know all the other members respect that from you. I was stating this to you, because I don't like to see potential like what you have, go to waste.
Again, sorry for the confusion, and you are always welcome to stay with us, this decision is yours ultimately, however I may suggest to you the possibility of gaming with more advanced people as time goes on.
