Scrolling text

im wondering about the scrolling text... currently i only see people with text that bounces back and forth from left to right.

im wondering what the code is (if there is one, should be) to make my sig text scroll from down to up in a loop, not just bounce up and down, but actually contiously loop.

anyone help?

marquees are pointless. They done work in any STANDARD COMPLIANT BROWSER (such as mozilla)

dont use them.

but i want code to it make do more than the annoying /bounce

cause with the text my sig is somewhat big and the scrolling would give it alot better effect

There is no code, but you can make an animated GIF.

^^ couldnt someone link to a keylogger in there sig anyway if they wanted too regardless?

not possible to disable certain html function? like give it only minor html coding?

Sigs don't allow keyloggers as HTML isn't enabled. *confused*

We could aways censor the code, but remember, we have a tech forum that handles potential HTML problems so we can't exactly censor it.

yes but u can still put link and disguise them in ur picture and someone could easily link to a download of a keylogger.

and as far as i know my sig doesnt violate any rules the image has the right pixels and byte size ^^

and x42 its not possible to censor it in sigs but still allow it in normal discuss?

there is a LINE LIMIT. 10 lines of text.

Signatures must be kept to a maximum of 10 lines. You may include one or two text links. Do not link to offensive sites or sites against the rules or affiliate links (get rich quick schemes, ect). If you use inappropriate avatars, they will be removed and you will have your avatar privileges removed. Signature images are allowed, however must conform to the following specifications:

Maximum Height: 200 pixels
Maximum Width: 550 pixels
Maximum Filesize: 30 Kilobytes (30,720 Bytes. 1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte)

Signature images are monitored by moderators. If you fail to change your signature image after receiving a PM warning from a staff member, your signature will be edited by an Administrator, and you will be Temporarily Banned from the forums.

In rare cases, an Administrator may deem a signature excessive in size even if it is technically within the given limits. If so, you will recieve a PM describing what needs to be changed. Falure to comply will result in the same consequences as above.

These rules also apply to custom titles... do not abuse these features.

SIGS MUST BE KEPT TO 10 LINES!!!

The <img> tag is relatively harmless, displaying ONLY an image unless Crooked decides to use an <object> tag instead for some strange reason.

HTML in sigs and HTML in posts have the same exploits, so no.
