i have, ragnarok online.

i made a chatroom that said double your money for free.

you put your character name and password in and they are both sent to me and i take the account pretty much

Many times on Diablo II with the SoJ scam.



Basically, it leads them to ultimately letting you pop them, grab their gear, and leave. My best friedn was always a ''previously done client'' and backed up my claims, and took 50% of the stash we found.

scamming in RS.... used to do it... but then i stopped playing...

hehe, i did some scamming in rs back in the day('02 it must have been). back when there were no second trade screens, so if you took somehting off reall quick and pressed accept(after the other person had accepted) the trade would still go through. tons of other scams too, people are stupid.

scamming is ****ing dick... i never scammed before in a video game mainly because my first few days on d2 (after my friend gave me a very nice lance, 300+ damage, which was good in the pre expansion days) i got scammed to **** and back and lost it. I have vowed to never scam. ever.

Who cares about their fun! you buy the game to hae fun yourself, and if someone falls for a scam (which are more than often not very subtle and blatantly scams) then they deserve to have their e-possesions stripped away.

i dont scam games like eq...where u have to pay like 20+ a month for playing fee...thats a scam in itself. and the rag scam was durring beta. D2 i find it perfectly acceptable to scam. hey, if u lose ur account or something u were stupid enough to do it in the first place. itll only take a good 2-3 weeks to get it back.

Who cares. I usually get back at the people that got me, using a different scam, but getting the same effects. I didn't scam random people, I can agree that is a bit too far, considering they may be true players and enjoy the game and probably worked hard for their just rewards of items, characters, and the time they spent to get them.

Who cares? I've gotten scammed and scammed people and helped my friends scam people. You guys are saying that scammers have problems because we ruin others games? How about this: if you get upset about losing your "godly itemz" on d2 you have problems.

i scammed someone on d2 once..it was a wierd way though and ive never gotten it to work since. me and 2 of my friends told this dude (WELL I TOLD HIM MY FIENDS WERE SATIFIED CUSTOMERS damn caps lock) and u tell him to empty his cube but keeep it in inventory, then u tell him to go by gheed and dropitem by gheeds tent, then u say to get into gheeds trade dscree. then he/she should hit the ctr. button while clicking on the cube, and it makes ur connection inturrupt. i got an soj doin this. but after that one time i never got it to work again.

once i was on d2, then someone told me to drop an item and press alt+f4, and then i was like 'OMG! IT WORKED! THANKS SO MUCH!' so then he was like wtf?? so he told me to show him so i showed him 3 occys i got from my stash, so he dropped llike 6 sojs and tried it. ahhahahahahah!
