Because it shows how low McCain is willing to go in order to get voters on his side. Palin is nothing more than a tool, and the fact that she actually has a shot to run the country if McCain dies (which can possibly happen due to his age) scares the fuck out of me.

I wasn't absolutely sure who I was going to vote for before the running mates were named, but when I heard that McCain picked such a retard out of the bunch, it quickly helped me make up my mind.
