And your basis for this statement is what? The hundreds of forums posts by people using D2Loader whining about being banned? Oh wait, there isn't a single one. As far as I'm aware, not one person has ever been banned for using D2Loader. This may change - you take a risk as with any 3rd party hacks - but for now, D2Loader doesn't get you banned.

If you're after a safe download link, the version at http://www.battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=106619 looks good.

*edit* sorry wasnt thinking, bet u need the loader to run the game dont you
get a copy of clonecd or alcohol 120%, you will still need to find a copy of the CD to make an image from. What it does is create a virtual drive that makes the game think the cd is in the drive. Im 90% sure I wrote something earlier on how to do this somewhere do a search.

I am using Daemon toolz, but i still need a crack to activiate the game, i've been told alcohol is similar to Daemon... (is it? :rolleyes )

I use alcohol and don't use a nocd crack, as a general rule when using any form of virtual drive software always install the software from the virtual drive and you will have less problems.
I have my cd's I just hate cd swapping; I have like 500 gigs of data storage so its just simpler to image my cd's and not have to do any swapping around, also keeps cd's from getting scratched up!
