Russian fighters can easily match anything America has in production.
After 2 wars, and almost 10 years of fighting, they still can't kill a buncha rebels held up in the mountains and armed with AK-47s and RPGs.
So something tells me that they might have a little difficulty matching an army as well equipped and trained as us.
Besides, it takes more than just a big army to make a superpower. The US is one, not just because of our military, but because of our economy. When we go into a depression, the whole world feels it. Our opinion counts for something. When we speak, nations tend to listen to what we have to say. Plus we have one of the most powerful postitions in the UN. That and given that there are only 3 or 4 nations on earth that cound take us on in a war, and we have 21 thousand nukes, that's what makes us a superpower.
In contrast, the most powerful nation next to us would be, China, then Britain.
Well, my goverment cares more than you think, everytime there is a slight problem in anything there will be a big fuss about it. But, they actually do something about it there was a case of someone dying after a blood transfusion so they have passed a law that means that everyone that has had a bloodtransfusion in the last 24(something like that) years can't give blood so they cannot possibly spread the human form of mad cow disease.[/B][/QUOTE]
They made that law because they don't want a national epedemic on their hands. There's a lot of reasons they did that, and they're love for you is pretty low on the list.
