The government is obligated to provide defence, and to keep this nation running smoothly, and to make laws that benifit all of society, they're not obligated to love you.

You say we not a superpower? then how come we basically own Gerogia, a huge region of China, and many other naitons that separated from us then USSR fell apart. We are a global superpower, because we control the a huge part of oil European Union needs. Russia has most natural resources in the world. We were called world's hardware store, the place they buy their materials. We have influence, and we have a powerful army. What else should there be to make as a superpower?

Besides, it takes more than just a big army to make a superpower. The US is one, not just because of our military, but because of our economy. When we go into a depression, the whole world feels it. Our opinion counts for something. When we speak, nations tend to listen to what we have to say. Plus we have one of the most powerful postitions in the UN. That and given that there are only 3 or 4 nations on earth that cound take us on in a war, and we have 21 thousand nukes, that's what makes us a superpower.

In contrast, the most powerful nation next to us would be, China, then Britain.

They made that law because they don't want a national epedemic on their hands. There's a lot of reasons they did that, and they're love for you is pretty low on the list.

You own them? Um, they kinda broke away after the fall on the Wall, so, you don't really own them anymore.

And I've never heard that you supply the EU with most of their oil, guess I'll have to check that out.

Well the thing is that we do, and we own them because they feed on our economy, thats the only reason they exist. If not us lending them money they would be long gone. About the rebels lets first see how you do in Iraq, and what will happend after you leave. You might end up in the same situation. The only reason terrorists cant get to you as easily as to us, is because you got a nice location between two oceans. We also have one of the most powerful sits in UN, and we also have enough nukes to allow us to destroy this earth a couple of times, you can destroy it more times, but who cares, we dont as long as we have enough nukes. Everyone listens to us, they have to, just because we have nukes, a powerful army, and a bunch of powerful allies, including US.
