Runes

I've been playing Diablo II for about 2 years, and I've heard that you can get an item called a 'Rune'. But I've never found one. Where can I find some?

it's okay, although diablo runs are kind of harried. you have to pick up everything in a minute, then the game gets deleted. and you get booted.

you find zod runes like any other rune...just alot less often...

nd i used to play classic d2, it wasn't as bad as it seemz, but once lod comes out......*splat*

zod, you find those in hell. nightmare can't, i think, and i know normal can't.

runes are not that great tho..ur not missing much..and there is certain order and shit..trust me ..u stay away from those runes..they're trouble i tells ya TROUBLE

runes are cool! they sound like....well, you know when a squirrel falls out of a tree, the little squishyish sound? that's it.

also, runes make some sweetass items. really, they do....they can: increase damage, increase attack speed, increase speed, increase regeneration, increase magic find.....a hell of a lot. and that' just by themselves, no runeswords.

i always manage to get around without runewords, and i dont fall over dead, so if i can get them and i can get along without them, i think you can get along without them and still not be able to get them. but dont worry. unless ireland has different prices than in us, the excpansion cant be all that expensive. and alos, you can keep all of your old classic characters, and get dead mercs back, and if you need more space for your good stuff, your merc can wear it for you. i wonder if it is possible to give a merc an inventory too?

dude i made ancients pledge with a 3 soketed shield and 3 runes

ancients pledge rocks. i use it for my assasin and her resists are 75 in normal, and 75 in nightmare if i use fade. ancients pedge rocks, also you should see some other runewords here: Diablo.calcon.net Runewords

also see ancients pledge:

Ral+Ort+Tal

shields, 3 sockets
Character level:21

- +48% resistance to fire, lightning, poison
- +50% enchanced damage
- 10% damage taken goes to mana
- +43% resistance to cold

now see if runes are not that good!
