Runes

hi im new to these forums but not to d2 have been playing it for a while just got back into it again. was wondering where is the best place to hunt for hi runes besides forge and countess? i know its random but there has to be a place where there more common than others?

My guess is Forge/Cows/Countess, but eally Runes drop pretty randomly to my experience, so I can't best advise you on where to go hunting for them besides the basic places. ><

i've found lots of high runes in cows over time... more than any other place excluding countess and forge...

act 3 durance lvl 2 i got a LO. yeah never got a rune there agian =(. but cow lvl rules for rune and gems. get lots of good crap from there including socketed weapons which u can trade for rune.

to always get a hi rune from forge repair hammer first it works real well in nm forge but trust me REPAIR HAMMER FIRST BEFORE YOU USE FORGE its just a tip

Try the PIT in Tamoe Highland. also try any other random dungeon in the game

EX. the cave, Halls of the dead, Ancient Tunnels, Kurast Sewers
