Rune upgrading ?

Ok, first thing, I'm at work and can't access many D2 sites but I need to know this cuz I'll probably forget to look later on.

Can you upgrade any rune in the cube if your playing NON-ladder??

I know you can on ladder.

you can upgrade runes on nl by getting 3 of one kind and walah but mind you this only works up to thul rune i believe neways only higher runes work on ladder and the recipe is slightly different
