Rune Trasmuting

I got 2 mal runes and i tried to make it into a ist why isnt it workign do i need a gem or something ro do i need to use 3 help me now and what do i do to make 2 ist into a gul and then 2 gul into a vex?

gems are involved for rune transmuting above Thul.

go check the cube formulas over at arreat summit.

in the case of Mal > Ist, you need to cube 2 Mal runes with a regular Amethyst to get an Ist rune. don't forget, these formulas for runes past Thul do not work on normal realm characters. works for single, open, or ladder only.

2 Mal Runes + 1 Amethyst = Ist Rune
But it will only work for Ladder Characters. :wavey
