Rumors About the 5 Races!!!

I saw this on some site!
Now I know after you've read this you will be hyped but its jsut rumor and we dunno if its coming oit yet!

1st: I heard that the XEL'NAGA are back and play a large bit in the story line but I dont know if the are playable, because it would be unfair they are ten time the protoss technology but the zerg can beat EM! playable or not they will be cool!

Also like the Infested Terran queens may be able to infest Nexus's and other structures! This also leads to the two (or maybe three including the XEL'NAGA) other races Mutant Terran and Protoss race... THAT would be INSANE!!!! terran and protoss going themselves! ARGH I hope its all true but I'm dobutful if you've heard anythinmng or want to second my rumor's please we are like sponges!!!!

Since Blizzard hasn't even hinted at being in any planning stage for SC2, the credibility of your website is dubious at best. Take whatever rumor you hear with heaping grains of salt and a shot of bitter vinegar.

However, if and when SC2 does come out, I have to agree that the Xel'naga will likely be a playable race. They're ever-present in the SC mythos and there were very likely more of them than the ones destroyed and assimilated by the zerg. They probably have a homeplanet, or more factions carrying out their epic scientific agendas elsewhere.

ur rite but I reckon that one of the new races is another of the Xel'Naga's attempt to creatie perfection also if they were playable I woukld say zerg wi;ll kill em in SC2 but the new breed they probably making will be sum mix of zerg/toss or a completely new race like some random thing like a tiger or something

Let us think a little on this guys. 5 races. On warcraft there are 4. It should have been 5 or 6, but they barely keep this 4 balanced.

But taking into account the Blizzard manner of entering new races "wc2 had 2 races, star had 3, wc3 had 4 and yes star 2 will probably have 5 races.

Still, I heard the campain storyline is following Duran's Prottoss/Zerg hybrids.

And if you read Shadow of the Xel'Naga, then the Xel'Naga's last project was something that destroys Zerg and Prottoss instantly. If memory serves, a huge ass bird.

Wheather or not that will be a playable Xel'Naga unit, remains to be seen.

Wheather or not that the game itself comes out remains to be seen as well.

I really hope so. I love StarCraft more than Diablo or Warcraft.

A huge-ass bird? I haven't read any of the Starcraft books besides Speed of Darkness, but . . . whaaat? The Xel'Naga is a race of almost God-like technological prowess, and their end-all solution is a gigantic bird?

Jesus, Blizzard . . .

On paper, that sounds like a . . . well, horrible idea, given the nature of Starcraft. Does Blizzard actually manage to pull it off well?

I can't remember what it was exactly. I had the impression it was a bird because the book said it had flaming wings. And the thing was MASSIVE. Bigger than the Carriers.
