I've been playing a few RPG's and was wondering what you guys have in ideas for Spells. Here's a list of basic ones, I won't give all the trigger cause most of it is pretty straight forward.
Give units to Player (Can give you enemy units)*
Modify Unit hit points.(Change enemy health to 10%, etc)
Create Units (This one is probably the most common. The only way to make this better is to add some twists to it. Like invincible, but temporary. Or hallucinated. Or kills/heals with a trigger or something)
Set Invincibilty(make your unit/units invincible)*
Kill Units at Location(kill a certain number of enemy units around your char)
* Can/should be temporary
Create Scarabs(I just got the idea for this one from www.trickznstuff.net. I'll explain the triggers. You'll need a few of em. First create a spot with some reavers and civilians. Make sure they are enemies. Put a location over them. Call it "Scarabs Start")

-Always

-Center Location "Hero Location" on all "Hero" at "Anywhere" for "Player 1"
-Preserve trigger

-Set Hangar Count for all Reavers owned by player 2 at location "Scarabs Start" to 100%
-Set hit points for all Civilians owned by player 3 to 100%
-Preserve Trigger

-Spell Conditions

-Move "#" Scarabs at location "Scarabs Start" to "Hero Location"
-Give all Scarabs owned by Player 2 at "Hero Location" to Player 1
-Preserve trigger
That should work and i'll try it once my friend dies on the pc next to me. I'll try it with Interceptors too.
