same... although with mine, i will have DETAILED instructions on how to play mine. i'm going to play it online some, but the biggest release will be here, on battleforums.

I attached a Volc's world rP, which is basically the norm for sC RP maps. Its pretty good..

I dont typically rP, but I know some of the rules and guidelines for sC maps. In a typical RP, you are either a town or a hero, or possibly a band of heroes. Some people have "Intro's" where they basically set up a scene where they describe themselves / their role in the RP. You then commence with the RP, which is basically just interacting with others in order to create a unique story.

If your going to make an RP, you should make sure that you have all of the stuff that people demand for their sC RP's these days. This would include:

1. Have The Vision Trick (Stacking Structures
2. Have A Wide Selection Of Units
3. Have The Option Of Banning Other Members In The RP
4. Anti-Mass Triggers
5. Special Effect Triggers (Recall)
6. Be Able To Ally / Unally Computers
7. Good Terrain (Diamond)

   Thats just a basic list.. a lot of RP's have more advanced features, such as footsteps, explosions, etc.
   
   Im not an expert on this, so you should verify with people who actually play RP's by logging onto SC and either hosting an RP or joining one.

Volc's world is OK. Good terrain is probably the most important thing and also try to come up with something unique, I like the CS feature on Last Stand RP. And that ferry system on Artic isles RP. Some map creators also tend to gear the units HP and damage to either RTC or TBC.

You might want to play a few rps first, to get the feel for them so you get a better understanding, and if you are going to make one it does not hurt to play them.

ok, thanks. I'm going to play a fe RPs, but I'm not going to be on SC for a while... I'll be on WarCraft 3 for a while....

ive worked on an RP before its fun making up character names and making the layout you want. Its a lot easier when u got 3 editors to work with.

Great question. . .

-Well first you spend about 30 minutes to a hour memorizing where all the beacons are and what they do.
-Then you make a town or something until some one pisses you off.
-When they piss you off say something like"I Smite Thee with thy Unholy Marine, Named Alderan" Note: If the RP features sounds it would be good to use one now.
-Then your opponent will reply "You can'st Smite MEE, I Smite Thee Instead with thy Catastrophic Mass of Broodlings from Eanore, They return to fufill there revenge from long ago."
-Then you say "*&%& you cheater, &^%$ ^%%( ^%&( &^%&*"
-Lastly you quit and join another RP to waist several more hours doing absolutly nothing, playing a map that takes no skill to make with more idiot 15 year old children Smiteing Yee all over again.
